Our Clients have an IP based Panasonic CCTV system that is gradually becoming end of life. The system is unable to recover footage following a hard disc drive failure and as such a backup solution was required.
VVSEC deployed an Avigilon CCTV server with ACC5 control centre software onto the security network. A selection of existing high priority cameras were then dual streamed to the Avigilon server, providing secondary redundant storage.
In addition to this it was noted that the main entrance gates were vulnerable and the client wanted notification of any out of hour’s access to site via the CCTV system.
VVSEC installed an Avigilon 2 MP HD Bullet Camera covering the gates and configured the system to send an email out of hours with a snapshot of any activity around the opening area of the gates.
This solution has provided vital health and safety information in addition to improving security and giving and old customer an insight into the latest’s HD video management systems.
